When I got married, me and my wife were very broke. She just finished her master’s then, she didn’t have a job. My own church was not paying anything. So, we didn’t really have money but I was a young pastor.
All my needs were in millions, all my income was in thousands. I was always owing. If I borrow five thousand naira from you, only God knows when you will be paid.
How I broke the gene of poverty in my family – Pst. Kingsley Okonkwo
And one day, I was reading the Bible, God took me to “Luke chapter 6… Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
I said, “Lord, all my needs are in million” and God said, “sow in millions”. So, I began to put the first million together, it took time. That time, if you give me any gift, I will sell it to add to the money because I want to give my first million naira seed.
Somebody gave us bag of rice, we sold it. I was acting with intentionality, I wanted to break the million realm in my life. So, we were able to put one million naira together.
After planting the one million naira seed, in three months, I was able to give one million two other times. The million realm opened forever when the Holy Spirit showed me this scripture that you determine the measure it flows.
See, if what you have is not enough to be your harvest, make it your seed. Prosperity is from above, not from abroad.
