Pastor Adeboye shares story of how a man got to own 110 petrol stations and a depot after praying for him. Read below:
I went to Preach in Ikoyi. I go there once a year in those days to talk to some very very big people. Small people are not allowed to come, just the big ones. I always spend the night with my host. When I finished one night, there was this young man who came to me at the dinning table and said ” Sir, I’ve never had anyone preach like this before. So I’ve made up my mind, I want to give you a gift ” I said ”Okay”.
And that time, the man had about Ten or Eleven Petroleum Stations, he was a small boy compared to the others. He said ”Sir, this is all I have with me” and he gave me Ten Thousand Dollars. I blessed him, I prayed that God would bless him and told him that next time would be more.
According to his testimony, when he left me, he was angry. He said in his heart ”What kind of greedy pastor is this? I gave him Ten thousand dollars and he said next time would be more”

By the time he came back the following year, he had a Hundred and ten Petrol Stations. And so he brought another gift, I took it from him and said ” God bless you, next time would be more ” This time around, he said ”AAMEEEEEEN”
The following year, he came back, this time around, he has a depot of his own. He doesn’t go to any depot to go and queue any more. And he brought another gift, this time I said ”God bless you, next time would be more ”
The Results you see in the lives of people whom God has blessed through the mouth of his servants are not traced to the length of the prayer. There is Power and Authority in the Prayers of Genuine Servants of God. Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established, believe in his Prophets so shall ye Prosper.
